My husband has Alzheimer's disease and had been attending Gough House for some time as a day centre user and I have always been satisfied with the service given, he was really anxious about staying there overnight and I expected on my return to find him a bit down in the dumps, so it was a wonderful surprise to see him so happy and content. Gough House staff as always were so caring when I rang to get an update and reassured me that he was okay so much so he had been watching football in the evening with the staff.
Food likes and dislikes were catered for and a full routine at home information was recorded and as much as possible implemented.
I cannot speak highly enough about this home. If you live in the area and are looking for daycare or residential care please go and take a look around and you will find a happy comfortable place for your loved one to enjoy.
